To start, I purchased Jodi's (at Clutterfree Classroom) Black and White decor line. I printed the Pennant sign. I added some letters and additional pennants to make a longer bunting. I still need to laminate, punch holes, and add ribbon to hang it. Only part is shown below.
I also printed Jodi's Behavior Clip Chart. My clips for the clip chart are painted with chalkboard paint. I used chalk markers (<3 them!) so I can change the numbers to names if I want. I still need to mount it on my foam board after I laminate them.
The next thing I did was make some Pick Me sticks. I used craft sticks and small wooded shapes. I wanted to make sure they would last awhile. I painted the circles in chalkboard paint, and used acrylic paint on the sticks. I used a punch to make the hole in the circles and sticks, and used small colored brads that matched my group colors. I used wood glue to help hold them in place as well. A coat of varnish on the stick, and some paint pen embellishments on the circle completed the look. I found the tin buckets in the dollar spot at Target. Using chalkboard marker gives the look of chalk without having to rewrite the labels.
I may not have been posting for several days, but I was blog stalking. As a matter of fact, I won a few things in giveaways. Lauren at Life in Middle School had a fantastic giveaway. I won her whole Teacher Notebook Store, an Amazon giftcard, Ladybug Teacher Files Bright and Clear Cursive, and Labels from Jena at Caught in the Middle. I haven't even had the time to check out everything. I need to get more ink! So much to print! Love it! Thank you, ladies!
I also won Monica Schroeder's Ellis Jewelers giveaway. I have a sport necklace coming my way.
Now, I really do need to get my own giveaway posted soon. I will be back tomorrow or Friday with the information about my prizes.
