Project and a Giveaway

I promise I will be posting about my giveaway soon. If you would like to add to my giveaway please let me know.

I have a quick post to share a Pinterest inspired project with you.

My project isn't totally finished, I still want to add a Welcome sign and my name, but the pieces are at school, and I can't get them for a couple of more weeks. They are red and yellow and should be the additional splash of color this wreath needs. It continues to build on my color scheme, and will hang on my door. (My room itself has some pops of color, so the whole thing isn't as drab as it may have seem with my previous projects.)

The wreath frame was Styrofoam from a previous unfinished project. I had much of the ribbon and the pins for the wreath, adding the red/white/black stripe, apple ribbon, and the dotted ribbons. I used ribbon strips (about 4 inches) wrapped in a loop and pinned in place. The back is not filled in, as it won't be visible on my door. A loop of ribbon and hook and loop tape will hold the wreath in place. It should pop on my wooden door, instead of clash with my creamy kitchen door!

I am linking up with Tara at 4th Grade Frolics. I have several projects started for next week, but wonder if I will get any done. What will you make?

  2. Your wreath turned out great! I am guilty of starting several things at once and finishing not very many too! That's why I wanted to set this goal for myself and then it turned into a linky:) Thanks for linking up and sharing:)
